He has a website, but the idea of buying a new domain name for every idea you have can be costly, so in order to test the waters of a product idea and salespage he’d like to set up a sub domain. Sub domains are mostly free and are used for secondary sections or projects under a main website.
A sub domain is exactly what it sounds like, a group of files that are underneath a directory of another. In the internet world, a sub domain looks like this, http://SUBDOMAIN.maindomain.com.
