My brother Dave recently came to me fired up about two “simple questions” that had been driving him mad about his new Macbook Pro and how to get the Mail software that came with it for e-mailing clients, etc to just work.. The “simple questions” were how do I get spell check to work and how do I stop spam?
Although these questions are pretty simple, there are a few things to understand and set up before they “just work” like you want them to. Ben of creativecourage.org writes about Lifestyle Design, taking advantage of new opportunity on the internet and having a real life. The Google Analytics Dashboard plugin gives you a convenient view of your google traffic data directly in the dashboard of WordPress. Today we’re breaking down how to change basic fonts and styling in WordPress posts without getting our hands dirty with behind the scenes coding. WordPress doesn’t give you many text styling options because it’s built on a coding language called CSS. Ben of creativecourage.com called on us to help him figure this out, and luckily there’s a simple WordPress plugin to get us started without needing any code experience. The TinyMCE plugin Advanced (pictured above) adds several additional formatting bars to the WordPress edit window, including a styles option for custom fonts, sizes, colors, and more.
